You are a badass… you just might not know it yet!

CHEERS to a new year…Hello 2018…👋🏻WOW ..new year, new you … Ya I get it, you’ve heard it all before right? WRONG..This is YOUR year… you know why?… because you get to chose who’s in in the drivers seat of this crazzzzy journey we call life…1 life and certainly only 1 you…Make it count…and #dowhatyoulove….you know what word is coming up next don’t ya..?? #selflove …There I said it again, and i’m gonna keep on until it sinks in….because it’s the most important lesson in life…. you matter and so do your thoughts….Soooo much so that “if you can’t stop thinking about it, don’t stop working for it.”

Fast forward to my current status…lol which apparently states Facilitator…meaning: a person for leading or coordinating the work of a group. Well, in my case, it’s going to be a group of young girls, helping #empower them to find their own authentic voice, that sometimes is hard to hear and even muted, to the loud bullies they encounter.
This is a scene I know all too well, as my daughter has been victim to these mean girls for wayyyy to long …and the saga continues…. So if you want something done, might as well do it yourself…. it’s time, really it’s past time…someone needs to step up and put these mean girls in their place…because guess what happens to mean girls when they grow up??? ya.. not good….🤦🏻‍♀️ I just hope karma finds them, and guess what, SHE will and when SHE does, SHE doesn’t knock!!!!!

Oooops, sorry, pardonnez-moi, feeling a little “badass” right now…lol Probably because I’m on the last chapter of the book…you guessed it. YOU ARE A BADASS by JEN SINCERO. Now don’t get me wrong its called a ‘self-help’ book, but that sounds so cliche… I mean who wants to admit they might need help, not me.!! right?…But if you needed a pair of glasses to see better, wouldn’t you get them if they helped?…or would you go through life in a blur? No brainer here people…especially with a book like this, with such a kick ass name, sign me up…lol…And if you look closely, you’ll even find the letters S.A.S. in the title too … coincidence??? Hehe

Because change is the only constant, if we stay stuck in our own little stagnant energy, well that’s exactly where we are going to stay…stuck and stationary living a boring ok life…..OR you could totally trust the process and go where you feel the most alive and passionate about things and make a difference in your 1 life… choice is always yours….again fast forward to now…..yikes.. new chapter, unchartered waters, but guess what, I control the sails. because in the words of Maya Angelou “I got my own back” … which brings us ‘back’ to … u guessed it …. SElfLOVE..OMG its is such an important skill to master and some of us have it and some of us need a little more convincing..Its all how you look at it.. Because confidence is not “will they like me?” Nope . Confidence is “I’ll be FINE if they don’t.” …I’m such a quote girl …it’s like your own little cheerleader…Which I intend to have right next to me. My daughter Edyn, as she discovers, that marching to the beat of your own drum , isn’t such a bad thing !!!

That’s the message I’m talking about…Go.Girl power….So if I can help teach young girls to just be themselves and love who they are authentically …then their potential is endless.

So there you have it… my 2018 goals, I’m putting it all out there in hopes for success, totally feeling nauseously excited.
