Stephanie Anne d'Entremont is a wife, mother, interior designer and writer living in a picturesque seaside village in beautiful Nova Scotia. Learning she has ADHD has been both a blight and a blessing, but mostly a rebirth like a phoenix. As a proud Scorpio, problem-solving and thinking outside of the box is what she does best. And in living her most authentic life, she's learned that there are no problems, only solutions. We are all heroes of our own story. Her hope is that her two children "mirror what you admire.
The rest is still unwritten . . .
AN EXCLUSIIVE LOOK INSIDE CONFESSIONS OF A CONFIDENT ADHD MIND
They say having children changes your life for the better. Yes, I definitely agree with that — they’re the game changers, the trailblazers and the powerful reasons why it’s so important to become a better version of yourself. They’re a walking and talking version of you that’s been cut from the same DNA cloth, so you might as well “grow through what we go through” with them. But that growth is an inward journey, and it’s certainly not for the faint of heart. And finding this inner balance is the reason I hope this book helps inspire you to be better than you were yesterday no matter how your brain is wired.
You see, I believe your outside should match your inside. And mine was missing a valuable piece. It always seemed as thoughlife was one-upping me and I had no idea why . . . until I found out why I could start 20 projects with gusto and never complete one . . . until I found out why, for the life of me, I always lost track of my darn keys . . . and why I can’t stay organized to save my life!
I found out why, when I look in my children’s eyes, I have to dig really deep inside myself to find some sort of patience and understanding, or, one might say, find a change in perspective while knowing deep down that I already know why. I could finally accept that not being born a pro housekeeper doesn’t mean you are destined to fail in life.
In fact, I believe F.A.I.L. stands for First Attempt In Learning.
Confession: I love learning. A lot.
